Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SportsOrganised ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including school administrators, staff, and any other authorised personnel.
2. Use of the Platform
SportsOrganised is a school sports carnival management platform provided on a subscription or licence basis to educational institutions. Access is granted to authorised personnel only. Each school is responsible for managing their own user accounts and ensuring appropriate access controls are maintained within their organisation.
3. User Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach. We reserve the right to suspend accounts where we reasonably suspect misuse, breach of these terms, or risk to the security of student data held in the Platform.
4. Acceptable Use
The Platform may only be used for its intended purpose of managing school sports events. You must not use the Platform to store, share, or process data unrelated to school sports management, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other tenants' data, or use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws including the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
5. Student Data and Privacy
Schools retain ownership of all student data entered into the Platform. SportsOrganised acts as a data processor on your behalf. Student personally identifiable information (PII) is protected with strict access controls and is never sold or shared with third parties. For full details, see our Privacy & Data Collection policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, design, trademarks, and content forming the SportsOrganised platform are the exclusive property of SportsOrganised and are protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsOrganised shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability in connection with any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the fees paid by your school in the preceding 12 months.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where changes are material, notify school administrators by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
